How it started
From the Family Table to Your Event
Unique's Caribbean & Soul Food was founded on a simple truth: the best meals are the ones made with intention. Growing up surrounded by the comforting warmth of Southern Soul Food, our founder Chef Tierra learned early that food is the language of love.
What started as cooking for family gatherings and neighborhood celebrations quickly grew into something bigger. Word spread — about the jerk chicken that made people close their eyes, the oxtail that tasted like Sunday afternoons, the mac and cheese that became the most requested dish at every table.
Today, Unique's Caribbean & Soul Food serves the entire DMV area and Western Maryland, bringing that same family-table energy to corporate events, weddings, private parties, and everything in between.
